  1. So wished i could have had my twins natural and NOT by section, took my ages too recover and after i had an infection ...

  2. I've had both, and I healed much more quickly from my normal delivery than I did my C section.  However, if the baby is in trouble, then by all means do the C section!

  3. Everyone who has a baby is *better*.

Now matter how is comes, if it's planned or not, they all bleed red.

  4. i haven't done either. but i'll definitely be choosing to do it naturally

  5. When my doctor first came to me about a c-section being a big possibility I was a little upset.  I had a hard time dealing with the fact that I may not be able to have a baby "naturally".  It would even bring me to tears.

Now....I went to the hospital at around 11 am after my water broke and was having VERY mild contractions.  They did an ultrasound and decided that a c-section would be the best option.  Only I had to lay in the bed hooked up to the monitors until 4 pm.  Well by the time 4 came around I was going crazy!  I can't imagine having to lay there (and I know they let you walk around to start contractions) until my daughter decided to come out, which according to them would most likely be a while.

So I would opt for a c-section.  It really wasn't as bad as most people think it is.  I had a very good experience during the actual delivery of my daughter.  Everything went smoothly and I was feeling great immediatley afterwards.  I wasn't doing cartwheels down the halls or anything but everybody kept saying they couldn't believe I had just had a c-section a few hours before.

Now that I've had a c-section I can say that it doesn't matter how your baby comes out...the outcome is still the same.  You are left with a beautiful baby that you love more than anything.

  6. always naturally unless a csection is really needed.

  7. natural birth is the best way to go..

  8. natrual is best, and more satisfying for you, you feel youve achieved something doing it naturally. You might think how does a bloke know all this, I have a few female friends who have been there .

  9. naturally.  my wife had 2 c-sections (had to) and the recovery was way worse than women admit to.  plus, your abdominal muscles never are the same.  having 6 pack abs after a c-section is not likely.  plus, surgery is surgery and a c-sec is major abdominal surgery.  if it is not an emergency or medically nec, don't have one.

  10. Naturally - the female body is designed to carry, give birth and feed a baby and has done it for centuries.

A c-section is needed in some circumstances but it takes the body longer to heal from so only should be done when needed.

  11. A vaginal birth is better for mom and baby.  C-sections are major surgery and take longer to recover from.  Plus, baby doesn't get the benefit of being squeezed through the birth canal and having all of the fluid in the airway forced out.  The chance of respiratory problems in c-section babies is higher.  I can't imagine why anyone would have an elective c-section.  So what if it saves you from going through labor and pushing?  You have to lay on a table, most likely with your arms tied down, while someone cuts you open.  I hope to never be in that situation.  Besides the pain of labor and delivery is manageable, either with medications or other methods.

  12. I've never had a c-section, but it's a possibility with this child, due to health issues. Both of my other children were natural births. One was 7 lbs. 3 oz. and the other one was 9 lbs. 5 oz. I would rather have another large baby naturally than have to have a c-section, though.

  13. it's best for your baby if u have it naturally. with a c-section, a baby doesn't get squeezed going through the birth canal, so they could get fluid into their lungs and that could give them some type of infection.
