It's really a draw for me.  IHOP has a tendancy to make more things from scratch or slice their meats fresh, and Denny's does almost everything from the freezer.  I have worked for both, and I like a little bit from each place - IHOP has buckwheat pancakes, and I like their Spinach salad and their Fajita Salad.

Denny's has some good nachos, I like their jalepeno burger, their wings are good, and I think Denny's blue cheese is way better than IHOP's.  

I hate both of their dessert selections. I tend to go to Village Inn for desserts.

Denny's by far. iHop is disgusting. Denny has better prices, better service, cleaner restaurants (at least where I've eaten!), and overall just better food!
