Whats better running on a tredmill or outside?

does one burn more calories than the other?

i dont reallly like the tredmill because when i get off of it im usuually very dizzy

  1. This depends what your training for or whether your doing it to keep fit.

    If you are training follow the pinciples of sport "s.p.o.r.t"

    Specificity - specific

    Progression - improvements

    Overload - Do more than usual, push yourself to improve

    Reveribility - Incase of injury or interuption to training, back track a little bit on your training so it is managable

    Tidium - change back environment therefore not to get bored

    If you are doing it just to keep fit, i think you have to think about "tidium" if you use the tredmill you could watch tv or something to keep entertained where as if you where outside you could change where you run, or whatever, so you aren't bored.

    Also, outside you could train to focus on certain muscles too, e.g. running up or down hill, change the terrain.

  3. Outside, you get more oxygen, which I THINK burns more calories..... and fresh air is good when you're running

  4. out side cause there is things like hills and when you run on the treadmill its like you get help moving your foot when it hits the ground lol
