Better for what?

Sony camcorders are great. There is no "Microsoft camcorder".

Sony TVs and stereos are good, too... There is no "Microsoft TV" or "Microsoft stereo".

Sony makes the Vaio family of personal computers - there is no "Microsoft PC"... but the Sony computers run Microsoft Windows... there is no "Sony operating system" for personal computers.

From a financial market capitalization area, Microsoft's stock price is pretty good - Sony's not so good in comparison.

The only place they converge is the gaming area of PSP and xBox... This is not a camcorder area discussion item.
