Whats better to print t shirts a heat press or silk screening?

I want to start a home based business selling custom t shirts what is more practical and better quality? Heat press or silk screen

Please check with other answerers before you decide.  We bought a silk screen machine and i still have designs from 30 years ago.  The ink has not faded.  It worked great and we sold a lot of t-shirts and tropical fashions.

But a modern heat press may be much more advanced and i just don't know./

I am in a different field and on a different scale (industrial production -6 factories-  and accessories) but in my opinion, if you need quality on small- medium productions, reasonable costs  and flexibility there is nothing yet that can compare with a good silk screen.
