Whats better, yugioh vs magic?

what do you think is better, yugioh or magic, i like yugioh, but i have never tryed magic, but i might just try, but what do you think yugioh or magic!

magic or ever its a good card game. It uses your brain not like yu-gi-oh.Yu-gi-oh is so easy i dont even think. Magic is different it  use your hole brain. So you are learning will you are playing magic. Not yu-gi-oh.

 I've played both but I prefer Yu-Gi-Oh. It's just more fast paced and theres way more variation. In Yu-Gi-Oh there are so many different types of decks you can make, and alternate ways to win e.g. Exodia, destiny board, hyper venom counters etc. Magic is always themed and as you can't even attack with a creature on the first turn its summoned(unless it has haste) it is so slow. With Magic, as soon as you know what theme your opponent is using, you can kind of guess their tactics, with Yu-Gi-Oh the decks are so much more diverse. so in my opinion, Yu-Gi-Oh is more fun.

yugioh hands down because:
1. yugioh is much cheaper compared to magic.
2. yugioh does not have this 'standard' format, forcing you to buy more decks.
3. yugioh has more deck themes (debatable)
4. yugioh tide of battle can change more often compared to magic (main reason)
5. yugioh does not have to shuffle like magic does (h**l of a setup/shuffle time and one game takes much less time)
6. Much, much more variation-countless number of decks, while magic at most has like 1000 at standard!

however, magic is better than yugioh in some areas as well
1. magic contains more strategy (I don't think it is true, you only have to play with your theme, if you want real strategy go play chess! There's so many openings, and so many variations from an opening e.g. sicilian. being a CM in chess, I think that chess is better than magic)
2. magic is suited for people who like longer games

therefore, I think you should either play yugioh if you want short, fun, exciting games, never knowing what will happen or chess, if you want REAL tactics, or positional play etc.

actually yugioh has more complicated rules (interacting abilities/phases harder to track) yugioh is a lot faster than magic and has the advantage that you cannot be mana locked (where you get too many or too few lands in magic).

magic is a lot slower game but has more variance in the abilities and card effects, and also supports far more combos.

yu gi oh is way better cuz in magic u have to do somuch to d o and gets boring and dosent beocme a game but in yu gi oh theres fast attacking quick changes and great fun so pick yu gi oh and avoid the cheesy manga series

Magic requires more strategy and thinking while Yugioh is more laid-back but still requires strategy to play. I prefer Yugioh...
