So is this a serious question or are you just bored?  Try looking at the sunlight as it is flashing off a mirror or a window.  It is still sunlight.  The other things mentioned, super novas or other stars, are not things that most of us will see in our lifetime.

Other than that I would say that the return of Jesus Christ will be so bright that every knee will bow and no one can hide from it, not in a basement not in a cave and that, my dear, will be brighter than the sun; but not brighter than the son.
