One change i thing would be all lap cars that are a lap down or more should start in the back and race for the lucky dog. Dont think its fair for the other drivers have to fight the lap cars in front of them by the they get around them they are alomost close to being laped??

  1. 1. Get rid of the Chase

    2. Modify the points system.  Too long to explain this one.

    3. Race back to the start-finish line on yellow flags.  How many drivers actually got hurt doing this?  I never saw it.  This would eliminate the need for the lucky dog.

    4. No more green-white checkered finishes.  This last race at Chicago is about the first time I can remember being glad we have them.  It probably won't happen again for a while.  They tend to create more wrecks at certain tracks and just defeat the purpose of having them often.

    5. A few schedule changes, won't get into specifics here.

    6. Lapped cars start at the back.

1, 3, and 6 are the ones I'd really like to see.  I can live with the others being the way they are.

  2. I like the chase, the lucky dog, and the green white checkers......

Lapped cars should/need to start at the tail end of the line behind the contenders.......

I would also like to see ALL Saturday Night races, that would be shweet! Even though I do like to watch the race hungover on Sunday morning(Pacific Standard-California). It seems to work well for me!!  HAH!!!

And a road course in the chase would stir things up as well...

  3. kyle bush has to drive a yugo.

  4. I completely agree with you about the lapped cars. That has bugged me for years. They could at least start making them start at the tail end with 50 to go instead of 10. I would also consider making some of the races shorter. 500 miles at Pocono? Come on people..... I think that is one of the biggest reasons the NCTS has such great races. They are shorter so you don't have to live through 2 hrs of everyone just riding around trying to save their stuff because the races are so da** long. I might also look at the top 35 rule and maybe shorten it to about 25 or so. And the championship provisionals are a load of c**p. Maybe give one to most recent champ, but when teams are bringing past champion drivers out of retirement so their cars will make the show I don't really like.

ah yes, the guy above me reminded me of this one. Definitely more road courses. Especially one in the chase. I would give the Glen a 2nd date in the chase, probably replacing Michigan or another cookie cutter track.

  5. i would change there would be no laps down or when it rain for the qualify race the leader of the point driver can't have to go first because i don't thank that is so fair for the other drivers when it rains out during the quelify

  6. when there is a G/W/C finish all cars not on the lead lap should be puled of the track

i say all cars more than 1 lap down must start behind the longest line 1 lap cars down can pull even

go homers qualify first then if it s rained out the slowest whatever goes home

  7. i'd like to see them come back from yellow in position order like they do in the shootout and the all-star race. those cars on the inside sometimes make it interesting, but for the most part they are more likely to ruin the day for people who have managed to stay on the lead lap... i'd also like to see the number of cars locked in to a race down from 35 to 30 or 25.

i'd also like to keep nascar from doing what ray evernham said they were thinking of doing in the nationwide series on "nascar now" - changing the tapered spacers on all but the toyotas to give them a little more horsepower. first nascar sets the rules, gibbs follows them and gets the most out of their engines, then nascar comes in and effectively punishes them for doing so well.  mid-season changes like that should not be allowed.  the other teams had their chance to lobby for their newer engines at the beginning of the year just like toyota did, they just weren't ready. why should toyota then be punished for being the best given the box everyone was put in?  never happened when chevy was dominating, or ford, or anybody else. but enough people gripe about that "ferrin' car" and all of a sudden, changes HAVE to be made.

  8. 1-Race in any weather

    2-Get rid of the COT

3-Do not count yellow flag laps

4-Get rid of radios  go back to chalk boards

5-Drop the top 35  set up and have everyone qualify every week

May be one race on a dirt track

  9. Dump the chase & the top 35 owners pts, I've never liked the lucky dog either..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  10. Shorten the season, add more road courses, and add races that take place out of the U.S.

  11. i think it should down more than a lap because usually lap down are still competitive... no extra points for a win, chase would include a road course... if you win any race your car is impounded until the next year like at daytona i know they use it for the museum, but why should you be able to have one car you always win with (i know that it isn't just one car but i think you understand what i am saying) and the commentators can only speak for 1 minute every 10 minutes then they wont repeat them selves and they wont say stupid stuff at least i hope not.... oh and green white checkers to the extreme no more racing for 2 laps and if there is a caution we are done no you race until the laps are complete like 302 laps of racing not cautions is that understandable? i hope so because it sounds confusing to me but anyway we race until the number of laps raced are the number of laps we are supposed to have (that is very extreme but i think people would like to see a race and not cautions)

  12. cars more than 1 lap down leave the track with20 to go

  13. Go back to the old days when manufacturers had to race what they built and sell what they raced. Can you imagine being able to buy a rear wheel drive, v-8 Ford 500 or Toyota Camry? With carburators instead of fuel injection?

Nascar wants to slow the cars down for safety, how about limiting the cars raced to those sold today. V-6's and front wheel drive without the aero help. How about street sized tires instead of those racing monsters.

There are lots of possibilities to make NASCAR more entertaining and revelent.

  14. More night races, just seems more like racing

  15. Eliminate top 35 qualifying and make EVERYBODY qualify on time and all be go or go homers.  I would also eliminate the luckydog pass.

    Go Jr.>>>>

  16. Make 500 mile races 400 miles..Cut out Chicago..Pocono..California..Las Vegas..and all cookie cutter race tracks..let Bristol have 4 races a year..go back to the old cars..that looked like real cars
