Whats cheaper getting to 34st station?

what cheaper getting to 34th station in NYC, taking the NJTransit train on the northeast corridor line straight to NY Penn then walking to 34th OR taking the NJTransit train on the northeast corridor line to Newark Penn then taking the PATH to 34st station???

Stay on the NJ Transit train all the way in to NY Penn.

The small amount you'd save in $ on PATH is offset by the fact you have to take 2 PATH  trains (change at Journal Square for a 33rd St train).  You'll save a lot of time by staying the the NJ Transit train (20 minutes or more).
