Whats cities in the northeast america get really cold and snowy?

I disagree with people that say Boston, although it gets really cold, they usually do not get the snowfall typically associated with being in the New England region. They get some, but if you go to Upstate New York, like the Syracuse, Buffalo or Rochester area you are usually going to get prob the most snow anywhere on the east coast.  I lived near Syracuse, and we used to get 100+ inches of snow, and it gets down in the negatives.

I grew up in Boston and oh god does it get cold and snowy.

New York does too, and so does Newark, NJ; Hartford, CT; New Haven, CT; Manchester, NH; basically all of them.
