Whats considered in the sewer bill?

I am renting a house and the landlord says that trash and sewer are paid for by him..what is considered to be in the sewer bill?!

  1. The sewer bill is what the township charges for waste water collection.

    Your toilets, tubs, washing machine, sinks and such.  Water that goes down the drain.  Some municipalities charge a flat rate and some use a meter.


  2. I just moved to the country. They charge a sewer charge because, although I have well water, they have a municipal sewer line running from my house to the city. I have no idea where my money actually goes.
