Whats cooler? mice or rats?

okay i was thinking about getting a new pet so tell me mice or rats i want one i can hold alot!! and less likely to bite.

I can't believe how many disgusting people there are out there.  Rats/mice, who cares, they all carry diseases and are really, really gross.  EW!  Glad I haven't met anyone like you all.

either one is good, but they would feel lonely without another one like them, because they don't like being alone, also if you consider getting one more, they need to be both females.

Rats all the way! Mice have no personality really. They dont bond with their owners, and neither do hamsters. Rats are very social and very intelligent. They will run to greet you when you walk by the cage and love to come out and play. I let my rats run free around the house and when i shake the treat bag they come running back! They're like little dogs! AND you can potty train them. :)  Iv had mice, hamsters, and rats, and nothing even compares to rats! They're amazing, reallly. You just have to get past the fact that some people are grossed out by them. Rats love to be held, mice freak out. Hamsters tend to be bity, but none of my rats has EVER bitten me. And iv had 15 of them!

There both pretty cool, but I'd have to say from my opinion, a rat, because rats are usually friendlier and easier to tame.

Not really a big fan of them, but I'm a big fan of hamsters!

A mouse is much better. Rats can carry disease and I believe they do bite, they are just nasty. I had a mouse as a pet, and I always let him crawl on me. He loved to be held, however my ex hated him, so I gave him to my best friend and she named the mouse Noah. He died now, but he lived for about 2 years. All in all, I think mice are much better and cuter, however, if you like rats more than you can consider a ferret. They are adorable. Good luck.

If you are considering a pet, "cool" is not what you should be researching. Both these animals have a lot of knowledge you are required to know before commiting to own them. So you need to be researching all the facts, not something silly like their coolness...

Between those, rats are what you described. Rats bond strongly to you and you definately need to take them out for at least an hour a day for them to run around. Mice are really small and a lot more skittish. They aren't nearly as cuddly. And because they scare easier, they are more likely to bite. However, there is no such thing as an animal that is a biter. No animal should bite. If it bites you, it was your fault for giving them a reason to, basically. If you don't overwhelm them, even a mouse will never bite you.

Both need companions though, so get two or more.

out of those two a mouse however i think you would like a hamster better they are most likley to be friendlier
