Whats does it mean if my budgie shakes his head up and down real fast?

he does it when i sing or talk to him and i don't know what it means!

  2. My males did it a lot around the females, I'm pretty sure it's similar to a mating dance.  You're his woman

  3. He is very happy.  My cockatoos do this when they hear certain songs or music they really like.  Just watch and enjoy his antics and be thankful you have such a happy little bird.

  4. It means he loves his mommy!! He is showing off for you.

  5. He likes you and probably wishes you were a girl bird. With some birds, this head movement is kind of a mating signal.

  6. That is part of a mating dance. If he/she doesn't have a mate I would sugest getting him one. They will NOT have any babies unless there is a nest or nesting box in the cage so you are safe. If you don't want to get another bird I suggest studding out for a week or so if it is a male and if it is a girl  get a male for her for a week or so. Just don't put a nest or nesting box in the cage or they will lay an egg.
