  1. Its the whole list of wavelengths of all the electromagnetic radiation

From infra red through light to ultra violet and beyond.

Have a look at this link

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagn...

It goes from radio waves to gamma rays.

They are all the same thing but different wave lengths.

  2. A spectrum is a group

The electromagnetic spectrum includes all the waves that have electromagnetic properties , which means that they can propagate themselves through space.

They include from smallest wavelength to largest:

cosmic waves, gamma waves,x-rays, ultraviolet waves, visible light, infrared waves, microwaves, radio waves, TV waves, electric waves

  3. 'Spectrum' refers to an entire range of something.  'Electromagnetic Spectrum' refers to the entire range of electromagnetic waves.  Radio waves and light are electromagnetic waves.  The term electromagnetic is used because these waves exhibit properties of both electric and magnetic fields.  Radio waves are at the low end of the spectrum(in frequency).  Visible light is in the middle.  And X-rays and gamma rays are at the upper end of the spectrum.
