Whats everyone got against Aussie Rules???

Its a good game and fun to play. It takes skill, and you can use tactics... i don't get what people have against it.

Don't stress its a great game,and truly Australian,i enjoy rugby league and union as well but Aussie rules is number 1 for me.

I've nothing against it, I love it just like I love League, Union and Soccer. I don't get it either but then again people don't always like all  football codes. I think we are really lucky to have them all, so why not enjoy the sports and the skill of the players that  give us so much enjoyment.

AFL is a good game to watch and I think all the football codes in Australia are great.

Playing AFL would be a bit crazy compared to League and Union because at least in League and Union you know where to expect the defenders will be comming from. In AFL expect them to come from just about anywhere.

I love aussie rules its the most popular sport in our state! I still reckon rugby union is a heeps good game, xcept its not as popluar in australia and i dont noe any onf the players. I only watch australia and western force, but its all good. Afl is heeps better tho. a true aussie game!

no idea... love all the codes of footy so i am easily pleased.. I do however admit afl was the last of the codes i got into... but that was 10 odd years ago....

It's because some people out there are too stupid to apprieciate a really good game.  I think it's great, every other sport is boring compared to Aussie Rules.

I dont understand either.. but i only know AFL and Soccer, and I much prefer AFL, its not frustrating like soccer is and its a much more social sport here in Western Australia.. plus i enjoy hating West Coast...

Its because truely in Sydney the only kids who played it were considered physically weak and incapable of surviving League ! I don't really mind the game I enjoy the fact that teams other than Victorians seem to dominate the league, West Coast, Swans even Brissie ! (go Swans!)

However it fails in its use of Biomechanical laws and Principles, every "football" code utilises a player lowering their centre of gravity and maintaining a strong base of support to eliminate an opponent, Rugby League just happens to be by far the toughest ! I've actually played all major codes including Gridiron and can still say that with all honesty. The other reason is that they never seem to throw a punch if its on - just like basketball players they grapple like girls pulling hair because they never learnt to throw a punch in school, to busey getting belted by stronger broader shouldered opponents i suspect.
