    Clothing:

(With your list of newborn needs - I've included a rough guide here for you - don't buy too many clothes as you will not know how big your baby is, and besides newborn babies grow very fast)

6 Onesies (lightweight, short sleeve, poppers over diaper area)

4 Sleepers/Grow suits (long sleeve, and legs, with poppers opening over diaper area – weight depends on climate)

This is such an exciting time of your life, and with your newborn baby checklist you will be as ready as any new dad or mum can be!

  3. the usual. diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, bottles if you plan on using them. baby clothes, crib, crib sheets. I'd also recommend a swing (they work wonders when you want to get things done around the house) receiving blankets, bibs, baby wash, a pacifier, a light weight stroller. I'd also recommend some infant tylenol or motrin. Even though they can't use it when they're newborns it will be nice to have in the house when you do need it for when they get a fever, or for there immunizations or teething that way you already have it and don't have to run out to get it.

  4. I'm a new parent myself and here's what I got so far:

    Newborn size diapers 4-10lb size

    Bassinet or Crib

    Car Seat

    Stroller

    Baby wipes

Baby bottles in case mom needs breast pump or decides to use formula(wouldn't recommend buying formula until after baby is born because you might not need it)

    Newborn size Clothes, towels, blankets

    Extras:

    Swing

Baby Sling(Like a reverse back pack to put your baby in)

Last but not least you should keep a cool head and don't let yourself panic
