Whats farther west: Hawaii or Alaska?

i thought it was Hawaii. but on a TV show they said it was alaska.....

The Aleutian island chain in Alaska does extend further west than Hawaii.  Hawaii is farther west than mainland Alaska.  Why are you too lazy to look at a map?

it depends. like the others said, the aleutian islands which are considered part of alaska extend further west then hawaii. that's if you're counting the islands in.

if you're talking about mainland alaska, hawaii is furhter west.

.Alaska is farther west.   The tip of the Aleutian Island chain is much farther west than Hawaii.  Down load Google Earth.  It is a free download and very useful.

west of what?  As far as longitude goes, yes it is alaska.  As for as miles west from the mainland, I believe hawaii.
