  1. As you can tell from the answers you've received already, there are lots of fun things to do in San Diego.  It really does depend on what you like to do.  Here are some more suggestions:

This would be a great time to hike to Cedar Falls where you can swim under the 100 foot waterfall.  I went a few weeks back and the fall is in full operation.  It will dry up during the summer.  For more info and directions visit:  http://www.sandiego-romantics.com/hiking...

Kayaking through the La Jolla caves is an awesome trip.  There are lots of businesses in downtown La Jolla where you can join a guided tour (which comes with a wet suit).

If you enjoy wine, there are wineries that offer wine tasting.  Most are in the northern section of the county near Escondido or in Ramona/Julian. Witch Creek has a tasting room in Carlsbad.

It's fun to ride the ferry from downtown San Diego to Coronado Island and spend some time exploring the island.

If you are a baseball fan, the Padres will be back in town Wednesday through Sunday.

I hope you find something fun to do and have a great day.

  5. Make sure you stay in Downtown SD.  Nite time there is awesome!

  6. Depends on what you're lookin for.  If you're in your early twenties and laid back, I'd hit up the scene in Pacific Beach (daytime: beach; nightime: PB Bar & Grill, Moondoggies, or the Tavern).  If your looking for the slightly after college crowd, most places in the Gaslamp will do (5th St. & Market with a 3 block radius).  For sportier activities, there's disc golf at Morley Field, surf and bike rentals up and down the PB boardwalk, ocean kayaking in La Jolla, and cheap golf at Mission Bay or Balboa.  For more current activities (concerts, special events, etc.), check out SanDiegoReader.com.

  7. Climb El Capitain!... not really, but check out the Gaslamp Quarter... it's awesome.
