  1. They would'nt have a clue on how to read Mendis, they have been 'stumped' so you could say..Ha Ha Ha...

    Go Sri Lanka!!!.....

  2. its lack of experience

  3. same thing happened like TEST series

    lmao

  4. Well as mentioned before by Mel the Indian selectors going with a new and young lineup dosen't really accomplish anything against Mendis. The test players looked like they were starting to get used to his bowling but now they introduced these youngsters who have absolutely no idea how to face Mendis. The selectors didn't really think this through properly and now India will lose the series 5-0!

  5. we need 2 seneyers sehwag and sachin

  6. Well, I think that Dhoni's been fairly complacent regarding Mendis' bowling when he said "it's up to the individual to face Mendis"! Comeon, these guys are all youngsters (except for a few), and, instead of admitting that you have a problem facing him, he acts as if Mendis is nothing special.

Moreover, with an inexperienced batting lineup like this (Kohli making his debut), he should've opted for 7 batsmen, once he realised that Veeru wouldn't play this match. Badrinath would've surely taken them to at least 200 had he played!

It's sad, really, that Tamil players aren't given what's due to them!

  7. Yusuf Pathan should open the inning

  8. Badarinath should open the innings with Gambhir.

Gambhir & Sehwag ,once again revealed that still he is the key player of India.

IKPathan should OUT and RPSingh/ Praveen  IN

  9. The indian young batting lineup was having problems facing 75 miles per hour bowlers, in Vass and Bloody kulsenarker, so the Mendis and murali is a whole new different.

In test, there were feliders all around the bat, so the tinest mistake would see  a wicket fall, not to mention the review systym was tottaly against india.

Sehwag has completely sussed mendis, and sachin also picked mendis and knew what he was bowling, Dravid and Laxman started picking mendis more easily as well, aswell and gambhir. Moreover the test pitches were a lot more spinner freindly.

This side has no experience, and they havent even got a sachin tendulkar to bail them out of trouble. India has a lot of problems.

they need to sort out this stuff between senior vs junior case, how can someone liek kholi take the place of one of the greatest batsmen and greatest technques cricket has seen in Rahul Dravid.

India needs the right mix between youth and experience. Moreover the likes of yuvraj and gambhir should accept more responsibilty, as there isnt a Sachin Tendulkar or Rahul Dravid to fall back on, in this series

  10. vet days ar eover

  11. Indian batting lineup was simply shattered by the Sri Lankan bowling attack-that's all. It was nothing short of foolishness on the part of Indian to think that they would be able to sort out Mendis and Murali with a bunch of inexperienced batsmen, who are themselves vulnerable against quality spin. It takes quality batsmen to tackle quality spinners, which the selectors didn't realize. It's true that even our seniors failed in tests, but perhaps, they could have gradually adjusted their game to face M&M, as already pointed out by One in a Million.

But your point is also valid. Though Murali and Mendis grabbed 3 wickets each, it was Vaas and Kulasekara who provided SL a good start-so full credits to them as well. Changing the team is leading India nowhere. All these senior Vs junior conflicts should had been set aside to create a winning combination where only the true performers could get selected irrespective of age, but that didn't happen. It was a combination of overconfidence, lack of sound technique, and lack of experience which brought about India's collapse.
