I wear contacts. I have for almost a year. For the past two days my contact in my right eye will not stick to my eye. It falls out very easy. I put in drops for allergy eyes becasue I do have bad allergies. However it also feels like something is under my eyelid scratching the heck out of my eye. Is this an infection??

  1. Hotdog,

You need to see your eye doctor.  What you're describing sounds like a condition known as GPC.  An irritative glandular response under the upper lid.  If it is GPC, you will have to stop wearing contacts for awhile and take medication.

Remember, you cannot put allergy drops in with your contacts on, it will cause a gummy coating on the lenses.  If you have been doing this, you may have increased the problem.
