  1. ok so heres the deal...

Mexico takes back the alamo.  White house says ok but no more.

Mexico takes LA.  White house says ok but no more.

Mexico takes Arizona.  White house says ok but no more.

two of our planes fly over mexico and get shot down.

Would we not be right in putting tanks on the streets of mexico city within 12 hours??

and no we do not need to get involved in this.

  2. we are in terrible situation, Russians promised to leave Georgia but they are still here, our population is very nervous and thinks that they at any minute can attack capital city of Georgia, Tbilisi!

If these days they won't get as you call it spanking , they will step by step enter all countries!

Stop Russia! while it is not too late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Georgia was fighting in many ways annexation of half their country by Russia.

There were fake passports found in Georgia and people in the town that was attacked were supposedly Russian citizens.

Rumor has it the People were going around attacking Georgian Villages then Georgia Retaliated and that's whe Russia came in with it peace keepers who stole and pillaged the land.

Anyway this was going to happen sooner or later based on the data I could get,   the is not much data on the Country of Georgia.

  4. Georgia attacked first then Russia retaliated and Bush thinks he can use this along with escalations in Iran to void the election...

  5. Why just Georgia? And I thought Russia was cool with us after the Cold War.

  6. Whats the problem ? USA invaded Grenada in the 70's as they did not like the elected Government, if one coutry invades another and the invaders get kicked out so...........

Do I hear Bush screaming about any of the Africa issues ? No, I wonder why ? Could it be that Exxon have no interests in Africa where as in Georgia they do,

Anyway, Bush in all probaility thinks the Russians have invaded Georgia (the state).

  7. yes, Russia needs to be stopped. Preferably by non military ways. But talking to Russian bear isn't gonna be easy, they don't really take any arguments unless all that is backed by force.

Russia with its ex-KGB PM Putin who is in fact running the country is in process of rebuilding USSR. At least as much as it can.

S.O. is just one step in that direction.

Simply put, Russia armed and financed separatists in S.O. for last 17 years. S.O. side provoked conflict by shooting and shelling Georgian villages and police numerous times during those years.

Last week before the war it was daily routine for them.

To say that Georgia started the whole thing just last week is simply very shortsighted view of the situation.

Considering that Russia was conducting military exercises close to conflict zone in July, practicing exactly what happened couple weeks later one would ask a question, was it so unexpected to Russians or it was well planned. Especially that few years ago they handed out Russian passports to separatists.

Either way there was no justification whatsoever to invade Georgia outside of the conflict zone.

I really wonder how is Russia going to justify S.O. president Kokoiti's and their own actions when Kokoiti openly admitted demolishing Georgian villages in the region by S.O. forces and refused to let back in Georgian refugees in the future. That is classic ethnic cleansing.

There are already reports in media how Russian soldiers referring to the order from Putin(I doubt Putin was that stupid though) were evicting Georgian population at gunpoint.

Also there are numerous reports about S.O. paramilitaries rounding up remaining Georgian population and taking them to unspecified location(s).

  8. South Ossetia wanted to break away and become independent. Georgians attacked south ossetia and russia defended south ossetia.

I say, let the Russians stay....they have to keep south ossetia safe from more Georgian attacks.
