Whats going on with this country??

Ok... Oil is at a record high and showing no signs of stopping, groceries have gone up and are still climbing, the cost of mortgages is back on the rise, even though people are losing their houses at a record rate, and belive it or not the county I live in just raised the taxes 4 times the amount. And lets not forget the record amount of job loss's. It seems like our government is hitting us right in our bloodline just so we cant survive. Everything we need food, gas, houses, paying taxes, and jobs. It worrys me something big may be around the corner and were just now being set up. whats your opinions

The Republican party set up the ground work for our current circumstances, and the Democratic party is not much better.

As long as lobbyists continue to own our politicians, we won't see much change until the citizens decide to stand up for change.

Obama made a good start with his comments on getting rid of the lobbyists yesterday.  I am afraid that both parties will fight him over this.

We greedy people of this country are the cause of what is happening.  We want it now attitude and buy it on credit rather than saving and paying cash.  We buy from foreign countries because it seems to be cheaper but in the long run it costs us more.  Because we put our own people out of work that can not compete because of unfair trade practices.  I am of the opinion that most of the people in this country only have their best interest in heart and don't really care about the rest of the country.  This me first attitude will cause the country to continue it's downward spiral.  Parents can't discipline their children, evolution is taught as a proved fact even though it has never been proved.  Because of that many young people don't believe in God and as such find that they are not responsible to any one other than themselves for what they do with their lives.  

We have career politicians with no term limits who fill their own pockets with taxpayers money.  We have a government that can not seem to work together because of their own wants other than the needs of the country.

I am one of those dumb fundamentalist bible believing Christians.  I believe that if you will read the bible you will see what is going on with this country.  I believe we are in the last days as prophesied in the bible.  Mankind's sinful nature is the cause of it's own problems.

The only thing going on is the increase in oil costs , which effects food and all other expenses. But people pay more in Taxes then all their other expenses COMBINED!!

We let his happen. We as a popultaion became complacent. When we let the federal reserve control our monetary system. When the federal reserve passed the Income Tax proposal. Look it up there is no law saying that we have to pay Income tax but yet we are brainwashed. We are no bettor than people who served under Hitler. All the time people ask why liberals can't just agree with their chief and commander the president. We could but if we did isn't that how Hitler started. Stop and think about the day we all give in and become zombies of the leader who makes his own war under false accusations is the day we are FUC*ed.

Let's see....folks bought houses they could not afford and are losing them.  Uh, not my fault, but I am being asked to bail them out.  Mortgage companies wrote bad loans, now they are in the tank, again, not my fault, but again, I am being asked to bail them out.  We have been so addicted to oil, that we have not pushed hard enough for alternative fuel sources.  Folks still drive their SUVs and Hummers, oil consumption in the US has not diminshed, so th eprice goes up and up cause ya know why???  Cause they can.  Cause the oil companies can feed you all the c**p they want because they have you by the little short hairs.  So when the cost of gas goes up, everything goes up.

I have no sympathy for the folks that have overextended their credit, signed loans that they cannot afford, etc.  It is not my responsibility to bail them out.  I am paying enought just to keep the illegals happy.
