Does this mean he will or won't play for the eels on 2008?

  1. Smith has been suspended indefinitely. His contract has not been torn up and he is currently in a rehab facility. He won't start 2008, but he will play in 2008 if he abides by the guidelines the club impose on him and he gets out of rehab fine.

    The thing is, even without this controversy he wouldn't of started 2008 because of off-season surgery to an injury he had.
