Whats good about the EU?

help. some one tell me some points why the EU is good

and someone tell me exactly in words what the EU is.

First: What exactly in words the EU is.

It is an association of countries with trade and political purposes.  They decided to ease up control on their borders so that people can sell and buy more easily from one another.  They also decided to afford more freedom of movement (with less paperwork) inside the territory of the associated countries.  To facilitate trade, they also instituted a common currency: that's why it's called a monetary union.  

Second: some good points: "common borders" means less paperwork to sell and buy things. It also means no taxation for crossborder.  This bolsters trade.  So does the common currency: it's much easier to trade if you don't have to convert currency.  Contracts in different currencies tend to carry a risk that one of the currencies might value up or devalue too suddenly... that scares tradesmen.

Another good (political) point: by deciding things in the EU first, the countries have more leverage in international organizations, such as the World Trade Organization.  Instead of voting in different directions, they now stick together as a block.

EU is the group of Europe country that have relationship. They unite and associate with others to get stronger like cause the great affect to local area, decrease the depentdent on USA and help each other to improve the economics. Products (goods) tranfer, barter or trade from one'country to other's one get no fee or taxes. People live in country which are in EU can travel to the country in EU wherever they want without visa or passport. That the base to build the great EU.

European are  and  it become a power including economically need to pout the Constitution together to become a military powerful.   the problem,is  because is  the England, and the Americans do not l**k to loose ther power, but it coming soon.it going to be l**k in the America,or better.

For me the biggest advantage of the EU is the freedom of movement. All I need is a passport to go to any other EU state!
