I'm selling my home and really want to clean my carpet. There are no holes or worn spots in my carpet. Are rented store shampooers better than home type cleaning shampooers?

  1. Rent a Rug Doctor(steam cleaner). They work great!!! Don't use a shampooer on it. It will make it worse.

  2. Yes they are! I've used them plenty of times and the carpets always come out beautiful.

  3. i would buy a dyson for your next house they are a great vacuum for that deep clean and sucking out dirt plus you can use it at your next house. then if you want buy a really good rug cleaner buy a Bissell proheat x2  with clean shot, something like that. i have one of those and it works great and about every 4 months i clean all of our floors. hope this helps

  4. You will definately want to use a store shampooer over a home type. They are a lot better.

You may want to invest in a Dyson. They are really good at getting dirt out of carpet.
