  2. You have a male I take.

Give your male a "love sock" let him do his "biz" w/ it.

Why on earth do you want to breed, first of all there are sooo many iguanas in pet stores now that aren't taken care of properly, sooo many iguanas in shelters because ppl don't want them anymore ... Plus the male does nothing, it's all on the female ... And then what if, what if the male harms the female in the process of doing the "biz", you paying for the vet bill for the female ... And then you have to put the eggs in the incubate the eggs and have all the right temps for the eggs to hatch.

Just because you want to breed you're male, means more then just breed a male. Rethink what you want to do!

    Sites for you to read:

A great book to read and have on hand:

Iguanas for Dummies by Melissa Kaplan

    Additional info:

he got this red thing coming form the base of his tail and i think he sick dont know what do he only a 1/2 years old

^^^ um from the base of his tail, you mean the vent area?

if you're ig is a 1/2 yr old he/she shouldn't be in breeding season, you need to take your ig to a vet

  3. Please do not breed green iguanas.  There are already thousands of green iguanas in the US who are in need of proper homes. We don't need more.
