Each team has 6 players who can usually only use their hands and the goalie being the only one who is allowed to use any part of his body to block the ball.

Game was played at the end of the 19th century in Germany,Denmark, and Sweden. 1919 Germany an 11x11 field handball game was first played on a soccer pitch. It was the indoor 7X7 Scandinavian version that caught on and has been a regular part of the Summer Games as of 1972.

you can use a hardball like a oversized superball that is hardened, wich you will need gloves in order to play cause it can break hands, or you can use a raquette ball. thats pretty much what handball is unless of course your in the olympics then its an entirely different game. but in the usa of  handball is nothing more than raquetteball played using your hands with a choice of two types of balls you can choose to use.

the smaller harder ball is more harder to control and you can get some great spins on it, where the raquetteball you can be more accurate with it.

Handball is where two people have a kickball-like ball and strike the ball with their hands against a wall which has a line down the middle. In essence, it is like the same thing as "One-touch" or "Two-touch", but it has some different rules.

The OTHER handball is team handball, usually played in the Summer Olympic Games.
