I have hypothyroid...i had a bad pregnancy in June 2008...the pregnancy was about 7 weeks and suddenly the numbers went down and ended up with bleeding...since then my cycle was on first week of august...as usual i took clomid and today is my 21st day but still as per my ultrasound my doctor says that the follicles are not grown to the appropriate size and my estrogen level has dropped so we may have to drop the cycle...when asked for reason she says may be clomid is not enof for me and we may have to take injectibles next time....

Please tell me what is injectibles? Dont follicles mature to a certain size on every cycle? How safe is it to take injections?

I am physically healthy then what is the problem? I can understand? even during the last bad pregnancy they couldnt find the reason...they ended up saying it was my body rejection towards the pregnancy??

What should i do next ? Should i take one more round of clomid or should i go as they say for injections?

  1. This is something you need to discuss with your doctor and not with a bunch of people on Yahoo! Answers who are mostly unqualified.

Good luck in your pregnancy endeavors.

  2. i'd stick with whatever the doctor says; i'd probably do injecticions.

    good luck!!

  3. Hey there,

I would go and see the gyno and do exactly what they say.  I am about to start my second round of injections this month and very anxious to see if it works for  us this time.  Clomid didnt work with us, we went through that 5 cycles and nothing.  So maybe your body needs the injections to help create the right size and amount of folicles to harvest and fertilise this time.

Good luck with your quest for parenthood... baby dust to you.
