  1. The West (USA,UK etc) attacked Iran illegally and have been killing people on a grand scale. Now in imitation, Putin has done the same to

    Georgia whom the West supports.

George Bush has urged an immediate halt to all action. Why should the Russians listen to him?

The only long term solution is the arrival of the suitcase nuclear bombs.

These marvellous devices will be placed  near all military installations

in the USA,UK and Russia,Israel, China, India. They will be able to be armed and ignited remotely, should anyone try to invade someone else.

  2. The death toll in the unrecognised republic has now reached at least 2000, according to Russia's Ambassador to Georgia Vyacheslav Kovalenko. The Chief of Russian ground forces Igor Konashenkov claims Georgia's military action in Tskhinvali has resulted in the destruction of all hospitals, and many children have been killed.

More than ten border villages have reportedly, also been burnt to the ground.

The Russian President Dimitry Medvedev said by its recent actions, Georgia is denying the right to life, for the whole of South Ossetia.

He explained the aims of the Russian forces in the conflict zone,

"Russian peacekeepers and military units are carrying out an operation to enforce Georgia to a peace deal. They are also responsible for defence of the population".

Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin says the government is planning to allocate around 400 million U.S. dollars for the reconstruction of South Ossetia.

The Russian Ambassador to Georgia says 12 Russian peacekeepers have been killed and seventy wounded during the Georgian attacks.

    People take shelter in bunkers

More than 30,000 refugees have arrived in Russia's southern regions as people try to flee the conflict zone. Meanwhile, thousands of people still remain in the demolished city of Tskhinvali. Amid continuing shelling, people are sheltering in bunkers, but are said to be running out of food, and there is no water or electricity.

Russia's Emergency's Ministry has delivered the first consignment of medication to the South Ossetian capital. Humanitarian aid and power generators are also expected to be delivered soon.

Russian military officials say the 76th Airborne Brigade of the Russian Army has arrived in the conflict region. One section of the brigade has already said to have flown to the South Ossetian capital, Tskhinvali. Other troops will move to the region by ground transport.

The main goal of the reinforcements is to restore peace and protect the Russian people.

No western cameras in South Ossetia

The conflict over Georgia’s breakaway republic is as much about information as it is about weapons. South Ossetia's press service claims Western media outlets can't be trusted because they haven't been operating in the region ”since the conflict began”.  (WATCH THE VIDEO)

“Only the Russian media and one Ukrainian channel have been filming in the breakaway republic. No western camera crews have been working in the conflict zone,” Suslan Bekoev, South Ossetian committee for information and press, said.

‘We haven’t received proposals form Georgia’ - Russia

Russia's Foreign Ministry says it has not received any proposals from Georgia to stop hostilities. The statement comes after reports that Georgia's President offered Moscow a plan to end the violence.

Russia has insisted a deal can only be reached if Georgia withdraws its troops.

Moscow has repeatedly stressed that it sent additional forces to aid the peacekeepers in the conflict zone, as a response to Georgia's aggression.

Meanwhile, Tbilisi has introduced martial law, and accused Russia of launching a war against it.

  3. they're eat'in lots of peaches

  4. Russia attacked Georgia

  5. Russia provoked Georgia into taking military action against Georgian rebels in South Ossetia and has then used that as an excuse to attack Georgia.  Russians basically are being war mongering imperialist assh*les

  6. Its a little hazy for me too. Georgia's president says that russia attacked first in one of the disputed border which was occupied by georgians civilians and they just responded back which escalated to a full blown war. the russian army minutes after the first assault did massive land & air bombardment w/c killed thousands georgians and attacks seems to escalates towards the capital of geogia.
