  1. Baby girl...listern to me.  Mom is under great stress and yes she probably does need some kind of psychological help.  However...  You and your brother need to show her love, appreciation, affection  and above all RESPECT.  I worked in a mental institution and can tell you first hand...even the worst cases responded well to kindness.  Running away and/or screaming ain't the answer unless your life is in danger and it is not.  Good luck and God Bless.

  2. Oh dear, this is a very difficult situation for you, especially as you're very young.  Your whole family needs help.  I wish they would contact Dr Phil - I'm serious.  They don't have to go on TV, just ask for help.  http://www.drphil.com/shows/page/contact...

EDIT: I disagree with the first answer that your mother doesn't have serious problems. She does - being harassed by a school principal is something I have experienced, and it is very destructive. Also your mother and father are not communicating well.

2nd EDIT:  You can email me if you like.

  3. YES HURRY SIT DOWN WITH HER AND EXPLAIN THAT U DONT WANT TO BE IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS MESS AND U FELL LIKE SHES BEING CHILDISH THAT SHE NEEDS TO BE STRONG AND CONTINUE BEING THERE FOR HER FAMILY TELL HER THAT U APPRECIATE HER AND EVERYONE NEEDS HER. TELL HER THAT ITS YOUR JOB TO RUN AWAY NOT HERS SHE NEEDS TO BE MATTURE AND BE A MOTHER. AND THERE ARE FAMILYS WHO ACTUALLY HAVE PROBLEMS AND THIS IS OVER GRADES AND SCHOOLS AND NOT BEING EMPLOYED LOOK AT OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEM. I THINK YOU ALL SHOULD SIT DOWN FOR A FAMILY MEETING. AND HEAR EACH OTHER OUT BEFOR U ALL START YELLING
