Whats happening to the Aussies? Only in 5th place?

Per Capita Australia is the worlds dominant and most successfull Sporting Nation, with only 20,000,000 the Aussies always kick ***, but why is Australia only in 5th place atm???

We dont have Ian Thorpe anymore

And in Sdyney and Athens, we won something like 5 gold medals in the track cycling, this time we have only won 1 silver.

Tho we have won two gold medals in sailing.. which I think is a first for Australia at an olympics

There is a fine line between silver and gold and many of the medals they counted on they missed out on..

Still they did their best and thats what counts and it will make them all the more determined remember at Montreal we won no gold and the AIS was formed I bet they start throwing money into sports again.

Actually they r doing quite well, but they could do better in men's swimming, hockey, cycling and rowing.

We are 6th actually.  How can we possibly compete against the size of the countries ahead of us.  We really are doing really well.  Ken Wallace just got us a bronze and there will be more medals to come.

and wen u think about it Normally hackett wins a gold Thorpey would win a couple and u know wer up to 14 gold which is respectable. hmmmmmm and the men in the swimming FAILING to get a Gold is extremely disappointing so yeh and even last night the Kookaburras bowing out in the semis so we havnt done our best on the mens side. Plus we should be above Great britain theyr competing under THREE NATIONS lol and theyv paid heaps of our coaches and c**p to help em and they have 5 times the population of us so yehhhhhh.
