Ok, im 17, and for the past month or so my brain has been acting crazy. I zone out and start thinking about the past way too much. Its like my minds having a ******* battle between childhood and adulthood and its getting difficult to concentrate on the present, whats happening ?

  1. dude that happens to me so calm down

  2. Sounds like your having subtle panic attacks. I have those(i'm 15) for example, when im sitting in class, all of a sudden i find myself swinging on the swings when i was 5. (flashback of course) i think that the realization that u r becoming an adult (in a year) is finally getting to you. you know that u will never again live the "easy" life...lol...like children live. u know that u will have responsibilities, deadlines, and commitments and u know that u will have to support yourself, and one day, your family. ik this sounds funny...but you might be having an "early life crisis" and subtle panic attacks. i have them and ik...it feels scary and ur concentration totally is out....you just cant focus on the present! it's sooo annoying and scary! i would suggest just accepting the fact that u are an adult (almost) and just take time to reflect on your childhood. if possible, take a mental health day to reflect on the earlier years of your life and think of all the good and bad memories....and then...think of what wonderful things are to come...

i mean....ur whole life is ahead of you (except childhood life..lol) just relax, reflect, and accept and u will be fine.....it's almost like a nurturing meditation =)

    good luck!!

  3. there comes a time in every kids life when he crosses over to adulthood.

it requires leaving alot of stuff behind and feeling quite lost and choatic is common.

theres no real answer for your question cuz you really havnt given enough info for an answer that really means much... but know this....

most people have that transitiion experience. ive heard its actually rewarding in the end.

best advice i can give you... is make sure you leave all yer childhood sh*t on the other side of the river... cuz trying to deal with childhood ghosts in adulthood  sucks bigtime.

the fact its only been a month since your feeling this way.... doesnt hold alot of weight...so dont panic... if your still feeling this way in a year.... then consider watching Peter Pan the movie again.  It might help.

i personally.... never crossed over... or couldnt i should say,  and its living h**l... every single day of my life i wage war upon myself.

    good luck
