Cabinet maker is harder because the finished product is in front of the costumer, electricians work is hidden in the walls.

No idea about training time.

In terms of training, the electrician may have a harder time, although they will get paid while in apprenticeship.

Well, the true is that electrician is more technical stuff, but as a cabinet maker surely you are going to need "art" skills if you want to stand out of the crowd., as a fine, high end cabinet maker,. i must say training could be from 1 to 3 years in order to get your liscense depending of the state you live,

IF you like to go from place to place with tools installing, fixing,conecting then = electrician.

IF you like to be on the shop, working the wood,cutting,sanding,using your imagination and Create things , then the cabinet maker.

I use to work as an electrician on the construction sites and is not a job for everybody , is hard, is dirty, fast paced enviroment, but the money is good.
