  1. If you use Windows XP then yes, but if you use Windows Vista then no! To run Windows Vista you should have at least 2gb of ram!

  2. RAM stands for Random Access Memory, and a Gig is 1,000 megabytes. So you've got a gigabyte of memory space for all your software programmes to use. Yes its good, because the more RAM you have the more programmes you can have open at the same time without slowing your computer down.

  3. Ok but these days 2g is much much better. (If yer using Windows Vista you'll groan and moan with 1g, but it's not quite so bad with MacOSX and nowhere near as bad with Linux)

1g is 1,073,741,824 ones and zeroes

  4. Random access memory is what it stands for.

It is also use in cameras, and will hold probably 1,000 photos.

Its kind of the norm when being used as RAM though.

  5. it depends on what you expect to do with it. If you're looking at only checking email and things like that it should be just fine.

  6. it means that you have 1 Gigabit of random access memory and it will surely speeds up your computer.

  7. 1gb of Random Access Memory. The higher the figure the greater speed your PC can run multiple applications at the same time.

2gb is more the norm these days.

  8. If you want to play high games on vista the yours need quite high but if you just emails on xp or lower them it will be ok! (i would go with 4 gb so i don't have to upgrade again or mabey 8gb!)

  9. its ok for vista its best if u have  2 gb xp is finee with 1gb its if u wanna play games or summet whats he on about plenty of p**n :| noob

  10. u will fit plenty of p**n on there my lad
