  1. Best bet is to erect a practice net and hit balls into that. There is little chance of losing balls and you can develop the golf swing. Also if you have a lawn around the house you can practice pitch and chip shots which do not require much room.Just do not take too many divots.

  2. If you have the space forget practising the driver and just practise hitting your short irons a good iron player will beat a long hitter 9 times outta ten I know I'm a long hitter if I had space i would mow a 100 yard fairway with a rough mowed green and hit wedges all day long but to practise your driver you could  build a driving net plus you   could buy   a launch monitor to see how your swing is doing or buy pink balls so you could find them and then hit full shots to the field why cant you hit to the field is it to small???I know a player on the seniors tour was a farmer who learned to play by hitting to cows as targets

  3. hit a lot of chips!

  4. Provided that the plastic balls are of good quality and not too light, they give a very good indication of the flight of a regular ball, though much shorter, of course, which is what you want.  Most farms I've visited have a garden and/or lawn like a normal house.  Here you can practise chipping.  If you are nice to the powers that be, they could  spare you some space and sand for a trap.

As for putting, the key is to develop a stroke that will hit the ball in a straight line, which is far easier said than done.  You can work on

this indoors on a smooth carpet to greater benefit than on an actual green, because the contours of the green will mask the actual effect of your stroke upon the ball. When you do get on the green, every putt is a straight putt - not to the hole necessarily, but to the point where you think the "break" is.  Good luck and good swinging!

  5. try driving the ball in between the cows ears

  6. You could use the plastic practice balls. Drive them into the side of a barn, they won't do any harm to the barn.

Get a golf net and drive into it. Keep a small area neatly mowed to use as a tee box. Set the net in front of the tee box and it will catch the hit golf balls. You can also chip into the net and hit middle and long irons into it.
