although robert lacks what you want to hear,he is some what correct because they play music but they dont see much action opposed to someone in infantryy

You have to try out. I think it would be a pretty cool job.  Lots of travel.

Its like a FREE RIDE. You'll be over-paid, over-comforted, over appreciated and under achieved. If you really like music stay away from the military, they are not in TUNE. Go play music on your own, be a leader not a follower.
