Whats is the best place to to take a girl on a date in sunnyvale, CA?

Take her to eat at Pizza Antica in Santana Row. It is very good Italian food, and great desserts. Watch out though they tend to have a very long wait, so call in ahead of time to put your name on the list. After you eat you can walk up and down the row and look at the shops, or go see a movie in the theater at Santana Row. This will be a very fun and classy date, I am sure she will really enjoy it.

If it is a nice day, pack a picnic lunch and take a hike in Sunnyvale at Baylands.

Just outside of Sunnyvale I'd suggest that you take her to Todai restaurant in the Cupertino Square Mall (used to be Valco Fashion Mall) they are an upscale buffet with good food and a fairly nice atmosphere.  Lunch is much cheaper.  Then you can cruise the shops on the mall, go bowling, or take in a movie.
