  1. They're like cool n' stuff... one plant will say to another,

"Hey man, you gots any pro-teens?"

    the other will say,

"Yeah, dude... I gots a couple wicked, tight azz teens right here... and dems all pro!"

Then they'll do unspeakable things to 'em... shame on you for asking.

  2. Are you asking on the level of that plants own survival or on its position in the food chain? Obviously in the food chain it supports the upbuilding of protein to its more complete and compounded forms as found in animals and most especially carnivorous who are also reliant upon their "preys" diet for their own survival. I would guess that for a plant the composition of essential amino acids would be a necssary component of that species survival as with other creatures although many plants vary in amino acid strengths. Some like Dr. Sebi "a herbalist" (can be found on youtube.) say that protein is not so much a biochemical structure as much as a way of defining a specific function and he believes that "carbon" is the essential building block for life and not protein which is already a composition of amino acids and each one with different types of energy functions on the atomic level as in the electrons. Thanks and peace.
