catch foot is what i know it as - ive trained in lots of different countries, and its always been called a catch foot to me.

I believe you're talking about the 'Chinese Spiral'. However, others may call it the 'Catch Hold/Foot Spiral'

I think its called a Catch Hold but I started up snowboarding instead. Last time I went I was 7! Now im 17.

Haha you did spell it ok! Do you mean the catch hold? Where you just do a spiral, but "catch" your blade behind you with one hand?
