Whats it like in NY prison? ?

I want to know what its really like. The daily schedule. Whats the scariest part?

I'm Looking for answers from a website with information. Or answers from someone who has actually spent time in prison (over a year).

Is is worse for a person in prison depending on the crime they did or is it all the same.?

It is different.

Basically you spend the day in the cell some prisons still offer school options and or work options. Prison meaning upstate Not Rikers i am unsure what Rikers offers now with all the budget cuts Either way it is basically a day to day of sitting in a jail cell and if you are lucky and have a TV watching TV.

You ask about the treatment for different crimes?? It makes me wonder what crime they are going for?

child molesters and kid killers do harder time because well frankly most cons do not like the fact they done something to a child

Cons do not like folks who have done things to kids plain and simple.

Not sure what else you want to know but it is no picnic.

I will give you my experience I am a female, and I spent 2 and a half years in prison.on a 5 year sentence , its not what people put out there some have it rough and some just do there time , just know when you think about your time and don't work or go to school while your in prison then it makes your time drag, the most important thing is when you become an inmate within the system ,prisoners expect 3 things visits, mail and commissary, I know as long as they got them three things and they work or go to school, your brothers shouldn't have a problem, one other thing staying to your self while incarcerated is a good idea don't ever classify your self with the bad characters, do the time and hopefully when its time for your brother(s) to come up for parole they won't have a problem, depending on what type of crime they commited every parole board has there judgement
