Whats it like in corfu kavos?

Ive been reading some reviews and they dont look too good so im a bit concerned about going.

It's very nice but a bit annoying sometimes because of many drunk british tourists.

Not good from what I've heard.

One of my closest friends went to Kavos in may to work for the summer. He saved all year round and was back within 2 weeks.

He intended to stay until the beginning of october but said it was disgusting and had enough after just one week. He did try and stay out there as its all he had been saving for/looking forward to so wanted to make it work.

I guess different people have different opinions but after hearing his stories this is not a place I would want to visit myself.

All he could describe the place as was dirty.. he understood its reputation for clubbing fully and this wasn't an issue as he went out there with the full intention of getting a bar job and being part of the night life. However, after previous holidays in Zante, Ibizia and Malia (so fully aware of what to expect from nightlife abroad) he just couldn't bare to be there any longer and returned to England.

I am sorry if I put you off you're holiday, this isn't something I intended to do but you asked for the truth so I have given it to you.

I'm sure that if you go out of Kavos the odd day or find something you enjoy you may have a great time.. Good luck!

Well yeah its a major party place, but you can go along to St Peters, a mile along the road to get away from all the partying, I'm sure you'll be fine and you'll have a nice time

I wonder why asking a question here, when all that could be asked right at the time you made the reservation.

If you were not told that Kavos is mostly for 18-30 raving youngsters then your travel agent did not do a good job with you.

The place is known for that and that is why youngsters go there.

Wild night parties and much more.

However, it is in your discretion to be one of the crowd of drunken British that give a bad name to the rest your patriots.
