Whats it like in edinburgh?

ok im going in October for my birthday with my sister we are going on ghost tours and stuff like that we are staying in the white horse close the royal mile i think. if any one has stopped in that place before i wanna no whats it like what to expect from the people in Edinburgh are they nice ? nasty ? also is the crime worser than Birmingham lol :) MY MAIN QUESTION HOW SCARY IS THE GREYFRIARS CEMETERY im going on the mary kings close tour aswell LOADS OF INFO AND U COULD WIN UR SELF A PRIZE OF 10 POINTS ! yay!!

Edinburgh is by far the most beautiful city in the UK. Steeped in Mystery and History. Generally the people are exceptionally friendly and the crime rate is extremely low (especially when compared with Birmingham and Manchester).

It is quite expensive, however much more cost effective than London.

Edinburghs really nice, you'll enjoy the ghost tours etc.  The people are fine and pleasant as well and the crime isnt all that bad, better than Glasgow anyway!  I doubt youll go into any of the "rough" areas of Edinburgh so youll be fine!

I live near Edinburgh and it's a gorgeous city :D! you'll love it! beautiful. Very traditional and it's the best place to live in the UK according to a survey... haha, so don't worry about that!

It's got so many things to do, you'll love it! Edinburgh dungeon which is awesome!! def check that out! there's so much to do there. Good shops and the people are super friendly.

I've heard excellent reviews on the ghost tours :D I went on one once when I was younger, but I can't remember much about it! haha.

But yeah, they're great!

i went in feb last year and loved it!! i really really enjoyed the ghost walk despite it being freezing. the cementery is alright to be honest.. spooky but u go in a big group so its ok.

the people are really nice and there is lots to do there with regards to museums and tours!
