its way different then middle school... (way more people and more crowded hallways) DONT STOP IN MIDDLE people get REALLY mad... *just a warning*

Well, first off, welcome to the wonders of high school! =D

I'd have to say that it's much better than junior high/middle school.

Although it does come with a few problems; high school brings drama and relationships into view with friends.

When you're first starting out, it'll be tough and some kids will still be immature, but once you start getting used to it, things will be so much better. But eventually, the immature ones will grow up.

It's nice to be in high school, and you gain a lot of new friends in the process.

Nothing like people say. Some kids are "hardasses" or try to be and those are the kids you just ignore.

Most to all kids are just like you and want to just get through the day and have a good social time doing it.

Theres no big bad bullies if your going to a decent one in a decent town.

I can tell you exactly what will happen.

1. If you've been a good student throughout your school years, you'll either mess it all up focusing on being more social than getting good grades or you really have intelligence and get decent grades throughout.

2. You'll experience your first love, and then another love, and maybe another. Everyone seems to be in love "forever" in highschool. Don't bet on it.

3. You'll experience s*x. If you don't, no biggie but most do.

4. You'll experience drug use and alcohol use. EVEN if you've sworn you wouldn't be like that, you will at least once.

5. By the time senior year rolls around, maybe even by junior year, you'll be ready to get outta school, just do your time during the day until the end. Basically you're past all the bs and just wanna get it all done.

6. You're probably gonna go through all kinds of phases and have trouble finding out where you belong within the groups until you finally figure out you're just who you are.

7. Despite all this negative-ish stuff, you'll have a lot of fun and adventures once you start meeting people and driving, going places and skipping school (SOMETIMES ;), having close relationships and figuring out who you really are. :D

Also, there are probably going to be school administrators all around the school to protect you so as long as you keep to yourself and your friends, don't mess with other people's bf's or gf's, be an a**hole to them, or think you're the sh*t as a freshman, you aren't going to get "beat up" or anything like that.

Another also, don't expect to get a whole lot of respect from adults at the school unless they already know you as a good kid. I've tried getting stuff done and they put you on the backburner until you drag a parent in there to handle it. You do build a reputation as being another crappy kid or a respectable one though. Have fun.

         But highschool is truly a joke.
