Why be embarassed? A lot of people buy condoms. Although, if you're under the age of about 24, you can go to your local sexual health clinic and they will usually give you condoms for free, so dont bother paying out for them.

Well they keep all the rubbers and lube in a glass case by the Pharmacy at Kroger. I don't like going to Kroger in the day time, so I go at night, but the glass case is locked and the Pharmacy is closed. So I have to walk all the way to customer service with a huge s**y smile on my face and say "Oh, sir, I need to get condoms, could you help me?" I've stopped getting embarrassed.

At first I was kinda embarassed as there were people I knew in the store. This was the first time I did.

Then tbh, I realized (though I knew I connected it to this) that s*x is NOT a bad thing and buying condom is a form of precaution against unwanted pregnancy and desieses and thus a very sensible thing to buy and use.

Since then Im casual and normal about it. Really there should be no fear, unless you are underage. Then it's a whole different thing.
