  1. My husband was the general manager of a McDonald's for 19 years.  I can tell you, if it is only temporary employment, it's not so bad.  If you stay too long it will suck the life right out of you.  You are overworked and under appreciated. I also worked there as a manager for many years and I am glad to be gone.  You have to work all kind of hours with little to no personal life.  Just look at it as a temporary fix.  Don't stay longer than a year.

  2. Little pay and too much work. Especially during rush hours... geez! Get ready for them to work you.

    Good luck!

  3. You will be watching people suffer the SLOW DEATH OF FAST FOOD.  You will be seeing how AMERICA THE FAT will gain another 20-30 pounds.  We are gaining more and more weight by the year.

Americans will pretty much eat anything that has grease fried into it.

my sister works at McDonalds and regrets it !!

she comes home all greacy ..

so if i were you,, i would'nt work in a restaurant

  5. It's very rewarding work. You can count how many times you can cook fries in the nasty oil before it turns to sludge and yupi have to change it. You can drop burgers on the floor and pick them back up to serve them when no one is looking.

    Mostly it's like this:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKZzUC2Ej...

  6. Its not a do or die job. You s***w up, oh well!!

At least thats how it seems when i tell people they screwed up my order.

  7. I worked at a sonic drive in for five months. Personally, I didn't care for working there (it was nice leaving with $50 in tips every night though). At the sonic I worked in, you got one fifteen minute break if you worked nine hours. It was really rough.

It was fun at times because I worked with friends. But overall, I didn't care for it because your always in a hurry and barely get to sit down. I hear that the Burger king in my town is alot more relaxed then Sonic though. (and air conditioned :P)   Fast food is a good way to get money when you really need it though! Have fun! :) Plus, you get free or half priced food!

  8. You are underpaid and overworked.  However, you end up meeting cool people a lot of the time.  When I was young, I worked at McDonalds and Pizza Hut

  9. it is hard boring and low pay

  10. I worked at BK was I was younger.. It was hard to learn everything at first.. but then it becomes 2nd nature.  The back is better than the front... don't have to deal with S****y customers.. and let me tell you they are S****y!

  11. gross!!!!!!!!

  12. Fast paced and hot.

  13. i worked at subway as my 1st and only job so far from may2007 till december 2007 i was a junior/senior in high school. i got paid $7 an hour. ok so you jsut deal with customers. you'll get some good and some bad. it's a fairly easy job compared to other jobs. you prepare food serve it. you work the cash register.
