  1. u have to awesome in biology, chem, physics, u have to do a lot of logic exercises, writing and speaking.

  2. High GPA, volunteer experience, research experience, Letters of Recomendation,  Physician shadowing experience, leadership experience, and a good MCAT score.

  3. a very high GPA and good MCAT scores, and good teacher recommendations

  4. you need to take all of the advanced math and science classes that you can (provided you are still in high school). Volunteering at a hospital throughout the entire schooling process is a good idea and looks good in your portfolio. Make sure that you have good/VERY good marks when you graduate from high school.

Next is 2-4 years at a college taking the appropriate courses (inorganic and organic chemistry, biology, physics, calculus, etc.) and get good grades. If you have exceptional grades, some med schools will accept you into their program after only 2 years of study. Otherwise you might as well go and get a 4 year degree in something that interests you (it doesn't have to be something to do with science - in fact some med schools especially look for students that have a life other than medicine.).

Once you plan on taking the next leap to med school, you take the MCAT which is a large test that involves everything to do with science. I hope you studied - It will take days of grueling work to get a good mark.

Then once you have picked out a couple of prospective med schools to go to, you start mailing out your marks (especially to your MCAT exam), get letters of recommendation, go to interviews at the school and then finally, YOU'RE IN!!!

Have fun and don't let your marks slide at all!

    Hope that helped a bit
