I have never owned a waverunner. Someone offered to trade me 2 1995 Kawasaki 650 waverunners for something I have . They said that they have been sitting in the garage for 7 years...they probably have about 20hrs on each of them. So far that is all I know about them. Assuming they are in good shape how much do you think they are worth?

  1. Well, in the "boating world" we consider about 40 hrs. to be one summers worth of fun on any engine (about) in the north east. So they should be 1/2 a summer old, so we have two 13 year old PWC (Personal Water Craft.....a 1995 model was made in 94) with half a summer on them. HHHHHHmmmmmmm, sounds like one of those "TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE" deals, were they winterized ? Fuel Drained from them, washed down, greased, fogged, etc. after about 10 years old, outboards are worth very litte, and the motor is what holds the real value in a boat. I'm sure that the PWC is similar engine wise, and don't forget, you might see somebody leasurley boating, everyone I've always seen on a wave runner has been beating the monkey snot out of it ! and remember that it's "TWO" of them, so the maint. cost's just doubled, They are way dangerous too, I Plucked a kid out of the water two summers ago on a PWC, he jumped a wake and slammed into a bouey, the coast guard had to put him on MY BOAT and run him into shore to an ambulance, It's not your environment out there, thats what makes it so dangerous, I prefer boats, I won't go in anything other than a "BOSTON WHALER" !

  2. about 1750 to 2000 a  piece  depending on the condition and if they are on a trailer
