Whats jailbreak on ipod touch what does it do and should i do it

ok what is jailbreak on ipod touch and will i still be able to use apps if i dont do it the guy at best buy says it breaks your touch what will happen if i dont do it will i still be able to see apps purchased help

do NOT jailbreak its a softwre that makes it so you can costomize you ipod touch to do almost ANYTHING

you get to put whatever on your itouch

you can get free games

you can just fool around with it and make backround different and everything

it caan s***w your whole itouch up if you dont know what your doing

just dont do it cuz i did it to my sprint phone once and i cant lie it is AMAZING like adding numbers from the computer on to it and adding like your own backrounds and make music your ringtone and everything

its just when you break it the wont replace it or anything and alt of times when people jailbreak things they end up breaking it when you fool around with it alot

its when you update the firmware so it can accomodate games and apps etc. please dont do this many of my friends have ****** theirs and cant do anythign about it, as it breaks your warranty. You can now get a software update from itunes so you can get itunes approved games and applications, it costs around $10 i think, but  ÃƒÂ‚£5.99
