Hi,

I am friends with a lot of 'dogey' carachters and think sometimes I may even be a part of some of their illegal doings. I mean there great guys as friends but I try to keep out of the illegal part of their lives.

Most recently, one of my friends asked me to deliver a package for him as he did not have time to do it himself. I didn't think anything of it untill he started ringing me over and over once I had delivered asking if the man I gave it to was alone.

He seems very uneasy about what it was I delivered now and i'm thinking it may have been something bad. I'm only 15 and my friends are in there 20's so maybe I just don't understand, do you think I could get in trouble if it turned out the package had something illegal in it?

I only ask because he has told me that I have to do the same next week and he is a good friend and I don't want to dissapoint him.

  1. I think you should take the package ight to the police and tell them everything and get a good lawyer because they could count you as an accomplice for delivering whatever was in the package.

  2. oh dear

  3. Lesson one:  "Good friends" don't ask you to do dangerous things that could get you arrested.  Do you think that this "friend" will be there to support you if you end up in trouble?  I doubt it.

You are underage, so you can only be tried and arrested as a juvenile.  Your "friends" (who are legally adults) know this and appear to be using you for their own "dodgy" ends.  Get out of this situation before you really get into trouble - find new friends, start visiting the library, get a new hobby, anything you can do to be too busy to act as someone else's drug mule.

  4. These guys are not your friends, no matter what you think. They are using you to do their dirty work so that if a bust happens, you are the one holding the bag! Could you get in trouble? Yeah, for possession and intent to distribute whatever the illegal substance was - most likely a felony charge depending on th amount.

I don't want to sound mean, but dude, PLEASE get a clue!

  5. If he's a good friend, he wouldn't ask you to do it. He is using you he is not a friend. Stop doing this immediately and stop hanging around characters like this because you WILL GET IN TROUBLE. Find a better grade of friends to hang around with and stop allowing others to use you. Yes, if you get caught, you will go to jail for a long time. You will get a record which will prevent you from being able to get a good job for the rest of your life and you will eventually become a felon which will keep you from being able to do many other things in life that you now take for granted. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE.

  6. jeeze, kid.  i'm not going to worry

you by saying you could get in trouble.  because

while it's is possible, it's very unlikely if the man knew what he was getting.  i don't imagine he would report you.  and if it was like an undercover deal you would have been busted on the site.  i'm not sure how else you could get in trouble.  unless it turns out to be one of those law and order strings where this guy comes up dead and blah blah, you'd have to watch the show to understand how easily you can be connected to something very serious.

    get new friends.

    or stop doing favors.

    EDIT:

    and as far as being

    screwed for the rest of

your life if you do get caught,

    that's not necessarily true.  unless

your ever tried as an adult for your crime

the deed goes away when you turn eighteen.

even then you can be tried as a young adult or something like that.

  7. if it doesn't feel right, then something is most likely wrong.  i wouldn't do their dirty work.  you know what's going to happen if you get caught passing packages for them and they contain something illegal?  you'll most likely get more time than they will, regardless if you know what's in it or not.

you're only 15.  get some friends who are your age and who aren't into suspicious behavior.  don't take the chance of ruining your future.

  8. You could get into trouble, if there's something illegal in the package.  And it sure sounds like that's what is going on.

If he was really a "good friend" to you, he wouldn't be trying to suck you into his illegal doings.  Sounds like time to say "no" to being his delivery person.

A word of advice - you need to find some other friends, closer to your own age and not into shaky activities.  Otherwise you are very likely to get into trouble, and really s***w up your future.

    Good luck to you.
