  1. I'm in the Marine Corps so i cant speak for the Army but from what ive heard its an awesome MOS. You'lll get plenty of field time and when your not deployed you'll be training for it.

  2. its a good mos in the army, if your mechanized its even better.

  3. Wow lot of questions in that one question.  What's it like...well it's hot, cold, dirty, nasty, long hours, a lot of time away from home, endless deployments and missed special days with loved ones, endless training for the next deployment when you're not deployed and if you're lucky maybe an assignment to Germany or Korea where you will come close to freezing many times and you always seem to be out in the field during Oktoberfest and Fasching.  What's it like???  My god, its the Eleven Series and you're Infantry!!!  What do you suppose its like.  And yes you can still compete for the EIB though the EFMB is harder to get and more meaningful and by the way far more useful for post Army employment opportunities.  Good luck to you.

  4. ha former 11b here yes expect to be like loose change to the army any time they need a position morterd there gonna call you and expect to be doing the jobs of 11b and 11m (11m is now included in 11b) all your going to be is a back end bullet sponge what was your asvab score don do the 11 series unless you have to or want to die for your country i did and i had a 73 yes you can get the infantry bagde deployments back to back and if your on shore all you do is train blow **** up and train some more
